Règlement et politiques
The following rules and policies apply to ALC Rabat students. Please read them before registering. For everyday classroom expectations, see Student & Parent Expectations.
Registration & Scheduling
- Places are limited. Registration is first-come, first-served. Late re-registration may mean losing your previous class time. See Registration.
- Siblings' schedules. We cannot guarantee that siblings will have classes at the same time.
- Minimum enrollment. ALC may cancel a class with fewer than eight registered students. Students whose classes are canceled may request a refund.
- Changing class times. Changes depend on seat availability. After the first two weeks of a regular session, a 250 MAD fee applies. Different deadlines apply to accelerated and intensive sessions. See Changing Your Class or Level.
Fees, Refunds & Coursebooks
- Payment. ALC accepts cash, debit/credit cards and checks (payable to “ALC Rabat”). See Tuition and Fees.
- Refunds and deferrals. Requests must be made no later than one week before the session begins. After that deadline, refunds and deferrals are not available under the general policy. The 250 MAD application fee is non-refundable. See Refunds.
- Absences. A prolonged absence does not entitle a student to a refund or deferral.
- Coursebooks. Students must have their required coursebooks and materials no later than their second class meeting. Books are purchased separately from tuition. After the second class, students without required books may be referred to administration, and parents of minors will be notified. Students who do not comply after a reminder may be blocked from future registration. Previously used books containing handwritten answers are not permitted. See Required Books.
- Make-up exam eligibility. Students who fail with a final grade of 55 or higher may be eligible for a make-up exam. Eligibility is reviewed case by case and depends on the student’s participation, in-class assessments, and the teacher’s recommendation. Because the make-up exam replaces only the final exam score, passing it does not guarantee passing the course. See Make-Up Exams.
- Make-up exam fees. The standard fee is 250 MAD per student. The fee may be waived for documented medical, work or educational circumstances, provided supporting documentation is submitted when applying for the exam. Family holidays and other personal scheduling conflicts do not qualify for a waiver.
Safety & Conduct
- Entering the center. At the security checkpoint, students may present a paper registration receipt, an ALC student ID card, or the QR code in the ALC Rabat Connect app. Students should also be prepared to show proof of registration or identification when attending exams. See Safety and ALC ID Card.
- Personal belongings. ALC is not responsible for belongings left unattended.
- Behavior. Serious or repeated disruptive behavior may result in termination of enrollment without a refund. Students and parents must observe the standards in Student & Parent Expectations.
