Sécurité

Accessing the Center

Everyone entering our facilities is required to check in with our security guards on each visit. Guards are authorized to request proper identification from visitors and students, and to limit or deny access when deemed necessary. We ask guests to respect ALC guards at all times.

Current ALC Students

Students may check in using their paper registration receipt, ALC student ID card, or the QR code in the ALC Rabat Connect app. Student ID cards are normally issued during the first term. Students must present one of these approved forms of proof at the security checkpoint each time they enter.

All Others

Guests are welcome in the center lobby when seeking information or attending a community event. We regret that space does not allow for parents to remain in the lobby during class time.

Emergency Procedures

Evacuation. Emergency evacuation instructions are posted in each classroom. Please follow the directions of your teacher and staff, exiting the building in a calm manner and meeting at your designated meeting point.

Medical Emergency.

• Adults. Adults will be consulted as to the medical treatment they desire, including any transportation needed. If the adult is unable to respond, the center will contact an ambulance for transportation to Clinique La Capitale, at the intersection of Avenue Annaba (Moulay Hassan) and Avenue Chellah, in Hassan.
• Minors. ALC staff will attempt to contact parents using the contact information provided by parents at the time of registration. If there is no response from parents and if the situation requires immediate medical attention, staff will contact an ambulance for transportation to Clinique La Capitale, at the intersection of Avenue Annaba (Moulay Hassan) and Avenue Chellah, in Hassan. Note: Keep your contact information up-to-date. You may submit a change in-person at the admin desk.

Theft or Other Criminal Incident

• On-Premises.
  • Report your situation to a member of our staff. Staff are authorized to receive incidents and to follow established protocols in response. Appropriate authorities will be notified and every effort will be made to resolve the matter in a timely manner.
  • Video Surveillance. Within our facilities, several public areas are monitored by CCTV for added security. By law and for the protection of others, access to CCTV is strictly controlled and may not be shared until first reviewed by authorized personnel. We ask that you respect this policy.
  • Interior Security. Security inside ALC is overseen by our security guards.
• Off-Premises.
  • Security outside ALC is overseen by the policeman on duty and is outside the jurisdiction of the ALC. However, ALC will make every effort to cooperate with authorities.
