Children: Ages 4 to 11
Levels
- Children remain in the same level for the entire academic year.
- Toddlers (age 4)
- Pre-Child (age 5)
- Child 1 to 6 (ages 6 to 11)
- Children in levels 1, 2 and 3 are placed English aptitude and by age.
- Children in levels 4, 5 and 6 are placed by English aptitude, mixed ages.
- Children 11 years of age whose birthday is before January 31 are asked to enroll in the junior program.

Juniors and Young Adults: Ages 12 to 14
Levels
- Juniors and Young Adults advance one level per term.
- Junior Program (ages 12 to 14)
- 12 levels. Students advance one level per term, or 3 levels per academic year.
- When reaching the age of 15, juniors take an adult placement test and move to the appropriate adult level.
- Young Adult Program (ages 12 to 14)
- 4 Levels. Reserved for high-level students who have completed Junior level 12.
- When reaching the age of 15, students in the young adult program may:
- Take an adult placement test and move to the appropriate adult level; or
- Remain in the young adult program through age 16. Prior to turning age 17, take an adult placement test and move to the appropriate adult level.
