Use of Mobile Phones and Media in Classrooms

Classroom rules on the use and management of personal devices are set by each teacher and will vary from class to class. Smartphones may be used on occasion in classrooms for shared activities, such as dictionary usage and Kahoot!

Students are asked to refrain from using their mobile phones in class, except during activities supervised by the teacher.
Mobile phones must be muted at all times.
Urgent calls may be taken, but you must ask to be excused from the classroom and must conduct the call outside the room. The call should be brief and your voice must be kept low to avoid disturbing other students.
Mobile phones must be muted and put away during all exams.
