Notre mission et nos engagements
To promote positive relations and understanding between the people of Morocco and the United States through language, culture, ideas and opportunities.
ALC Rabat is a member of the American Cultural Association, a Moroccan non-profit organization with no government affiliations. Our center is funded entirely by student tuition.
We are the only American Language Center in the Rabat–Salé–Temara region. We have no partnerships or affiliations with other language schools in the region.
Our main center is at 4, Rue Tanger, and our annex is at 6, Rue Oued Zem, in the Hassan neighborhood of Rabat.
We are committed to providing effective, enjoyable English language instruction. Our internationally qualified teachers bring a wide range of experience to the classroom. Many hold Cambridge CELTA qualifications, while some also hold Cambridge DELTA qualifications or teach at local universities. We support our teachers through a robust ongoing professional development program.
We want students to feel welcome, respected and encouraged to succeed. We recognize that students have different learning needs and strive to respond to them. As part of this commitment, ALC Rabat participates in the Dyslexia Smart Schools program, and many of our teachers have completed related training.
Families who would like to discuss individual learning needs are encouraged to contact an academic supervisor. See Special Needs.
Language learning is about more than lessons and exams. We offer students opportunities to develop their interests, make connections and contribute to their community through Clubs & Activities and Cultural Events & Activities.
We aim to help students develop the communication, collaboration and other skills they need in a changing world. We continue to review our teaching methods and learning technologies to meet students' evolving needs. See Learning Technologies.
